Simple shrimp & avocado salad recipe
This salad is healthy quick food and very easy to cook. You’ll be happy with the result – beautiful n’ yummy salad! Mix shrimps and avocado is a good combination for your healthy diet. Avocado is dietetic product, contains the necessary fats called unsaturated fatty acids.
Shrimp avocado salad is more popular in the summer time, because has a refreshing light taste. Prepare it light meal for dinner or lunch and enjoy great tasting the healthy salad. This salad is not only delicious, but also useful – rich in natural vitamins, vegetable fats and proteins (from shrimps). Now I will tell you my recipe for this great salad.
Recipe for avocado salad dressing
I use for the salad dressing extra virgin olive or organic hemp oil. Mix Lime or Lemon juice with 2 tbsp oil. You can add to salad dressing chopped dried Provencal herbs (basil, mint, oregano) for a pleasant aroma.
Shrimps n’ avocado salad ingredients
Ingredients (serving for 2 person):
- 1 ripe avocado;
- ½ red onion;
- 500g of big shrimps;
- a little vegetable oil for frying;
- salt & dried black pepper (optional).
- For salad dressing:
- one pinch of dried herbs (optional);
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil;
- juice of half a Lime or Lemon.
Remove the shells and heads from the shrimp. In a frying pan heat the vegetable oil and lightly fry the prawns for 1-2 minutes. Shrimp ready to put on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. In a salad bowl put the fried shrimp, add diced red onion and avocado pulp. Add the salad dressing, one punch of salt & black pepper and mix all.
Serve the salad at the table and enjoy delicious easy shrimp avocado salad!
